Biography

Dr. Abdullah joined Dubai Medical College for Girls in 2023 as a full-time assistant professor in the nursing program. He earned his Bachelor of Nursing Science from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, a Master of Community Health Nursing from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, and a Ph.D. in Community Health Nursing at the University of Szeged, Hungary.

Dr. Abdullah worked in several hospital areas as a registered nurse, gaining clinical experience in emergency departments, intensive care, geriatric, psychology, home health, school health, and outpatient mental health. Dr. Abdullah’s teaching experience was commissioned at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan, in 2012, where he taught Fundamentals of Nursing, Comprehensive Health Assessment, Adult Health Nursing I, Community Health Nursing, and Intensive Clinical Training. Dr. Abdullah’s research interests include Health Behaviours and Adolescents Mental Health. Dr. Abdullah was a research assistant in several projects, such as the Defence Threat Reduction Agency for Biological Threats Reduction Program, USAID, Eco Health Alliance, PREDICT Project, Jordan University of Science and Technology, World Health Organization, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and John Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Abdullah also worked as a risk manager and quality coordinator for hospitals.
