DMU’s Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini is Appointed as Scientific Committee Chairperson of the Emirates Clinical Pharmacy Society
The College of Pharmacy, Dubai Medical University is proud to announce that Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist, has been elected as the Scientific Committee Chairperson of the Emirates Clinical Pharmacy Society (ECPS) under the Emirates Medical Association (EMA).
In this leadership role, Dr. El Ouweini will oversee the development of long-term scientific strategies for the society, coordinate and organize scientific meetings, conferences, and educational events, and collaborate with the Emirates Medical Association to enrich its scientific publications and initiatives.
Commenting on the appointment, Dr. El Ouweini said: “It is an honor to contribute to the growth of clinical pharmacy in the UAE through the Emirates Clinical Pharmacy Society. I look forward to working with fellow pharmacists to promote excellence, innovation, and collaboration within our profession.”
The Emirates Clinical Pharmacy Society aims to foster professional exchange, support continuing education, and strengthen the role of clinical pharmacists in improving patient care outcomes.
