The meeting included detailed discussions on&nbsp;<strong>governance, strategic planning, teaching &amp; learning, and leadership in higher education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Hadj-Hamou is a distinguished leader in higher education development in the region. She previously served as&nbsp;<strong>Assistant Chancellor for Learning and Academic Development (Provost)<\/strong>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<strong>Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University<\/strong>, where she played a major role in establishing and leading the academic, research, and e-learning vision of the&nbsp;<strong>first fully online university accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She serves as a consultant to several&nbsp;<strong>UNESCO regional offices<\/strong>, and the founder of several prominent regional initiatives, including the&nbsp;<strong>Middle East eLearning Association (MEeA)<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>MENA Association of University Presidents<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>MENA Higher Education Leadership Forum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recognition of her outstanding contributions to education, Dr. Hadj-Hamou was listed by&nbsp;<strong>Forbes Magazine in 2015 among the 200 Most Powerful Arab Women<\/strong>, received the&nbsp;<strong>Arab Women Award for Education in 2016<\/strong>, and was honored with the&nbsp;<strong>Influential Educational Leader Award<\/strong>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<strong>University of Cambridge<\/strong>&nbsp;in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DMU values such strategic engagements with regional and international leaders and looks forward to translating the discussions into impactful collaborations that support innovation, quality, and excellence in higher education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dubai Medical University (DMU)&nbsp;was pleased to welcome&nbsp;Dr. Narimane Hadj-Hamou, Founder and CEO of the&nbsp;Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS), on&nbsp;Wednesday,&nbsp;23 December 2025.
