Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini

Biography
Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Dubai Medical University and a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist and Preceptor at Dubai Medical University Hospital. He chairs the IVPN-AR Organizing Committee and leads the IVPN-Critical Care Listserv. He also serves as the Social Media and Digital Lead for the Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy Section of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. Dr. El Ouweini completed an ACCP-accredited postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Pharmacy Research with a focus on Critical Care, jointly offered by Gulf Medical University and Washington State University. He is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. He earned his PharmD in 2019, completed a PGY1 residency in 2020, and held clinical and academic roles at the Lebanese American University and Gulf Medical University from 2020 to 2025.
