College of Nursing Conducts Research Methodology Workshop
The College of Nursing, in collaboration with the Learning Resource Center (LRC) at Dubai Medical University, successfully conducted a Research Methodology Workshop as part of their joint efforts to enhance research competencies and promote academic excellence.
The workshop opened with a session on Topic Selection and Statement of the Problem, facilitated by Dr. Haya Al Shawa, that guided participants in identifying relevant research topics and developing well-defined research problems.
This was followed by a hands-on session on Searching for Literature and Literature Review, delivered by Dr. Haya Al Shawa and Ms. Bushra Parveen. The session provided practical training on effective literature searching strategies and the use of citation management software.
The workshop was well-received by participants and strengthened their research skills and confidence. This collaborative initiative reflects the continued commitment of the College of Nursing and the Learning Resource Center to advancing nursing education and research excellence at Dubai Medical University.
